Default Abraham Marsden (1799)

Abraham Marsden (1799 - 1833)

On the first of November 1799 in Oldham, the same year as the Rosetta stone was discovered, Abraham became the third child of Simeon and Sarah Marsden. He had two older brothers, Samuel and James and in the next eighteen years he had another four brothers, (Thomas, John, Simeon and Taylor) and three sisters, (Mary, Sarah and Elizabeth). It appears that when he came of age he was a Hatter. Records indicate he died or was buried on the 5th of October 1833 aged 33.
